Rathalos confirmed already in the original trailer, and the SnS weapon showcase had the player using Rathalos armor, if hes there Rathian will most likely be as well.......expect a handful of returning monsters but the demo showcased new monsters.

Rathalos is not a world monster.

Technicality, the world version is so different from the past its almost a whole new monster.

And when people say they want a world monster......thats...what a whole 2.5 that actually matter? Odogeron, Namiel, and some people like Bazel......ok ill say Anji was kinda ok.....

A good thing I guess. But what does it matter? They'll add monsters in the game. Probably monsters from World are a good chance.


I hope we have a wide wide variety of monsters to hunt. I wouldn't mind if they included all of world's monsters if I could just have more, so much more things to hunt.

Yea I'm curious about returning monsters as well from both Rise and pre-world, seeing Yian Kut-Ku in the trailers gave me one heck of a laugh before I started wondering how they were gonna bring that little annoying nothing more than a mini-Rathalos into the modern era, and that lead me into one heck of a think about it.

Though I'm personally half expecting a good chunk of the monster list to be Wilds exclusive and we may see some more returners in updates or MR.
