I’m actually more inclined to think that they lack the proper technology and skills and are just stubbornly chasing trends. After all, even with the 4090 and 4080, this game's optimization still performs poorly.
In Cities: Skylines 2, they put an excessive amount of detail into things like adding 5,000 water tank models on rooftops—details that no one really cares about and aren't the focus of a city-building sim. They even gave every pedestrian a multi-layered model for their teeth, which is honestly unnecessary. These elements aren’t what city-building games should focus on, nor do players care about what each citizen is specifically doing. However, Cities: Skylines 2 still chose to do this, leading to poor optimization issues that have persisted since release.
They said in a interview that the beta is an old build not well optimized.
The issue is that since Dragons Dogma 2 uses the same engine.
They still haven't fixed DD2 and made it more optimized is in some situations.
Unless they change requirments before the full release, asking for Frame Gen just to get 60fps is a sign is not optimized at all .
I hope before release they do a Demo with a build more optimized and Gpu driver support.
500k = not optimized models
They used frame gen during the testing process and said "60 is fine"
im not sure they will do this for players , because theyre capcom .
this is the capcom .
I certainly don't want them to lower the active polygon count.
Why testing OLD build ?
They released a demo for some of their games that use Re Engine . Previous Mh games on pc got a demo too Both MH World and Rise.
Rise tough is the exception because is a Modified Re Engine otherwise it wouldn't even run on Switch.
I hope they do it, maybe their gonna drop it in Dicember or January so they can get more feedback .
I did read tough their working on optimizing the game and this build was old.
We will see.
if they really do for players , this is very good , every player wishes .
