The game needs to be delayed
  • Terrible performance even with DLSS + Frame generation, developers need to stop being lazy and optimize their games, DLSS and all this tech was for amers to squich more from their hardware and not for lazy developers to just half ass their jobs.
  • I don't know where all of this loss of performance is going since the game looks worse than Monster Hunter World, textures look terrible all pixelated even with the highest settings, I don't know everything looks really low quality.
  • The mount automoving is another atrocious choice
  • Something about the combat feels unresponsive, I don't know how to explain it but it does feel a bit more "clunky" than usual
  • Starting area theme is a bad choice, it looks super depressing, boring, barren.
  • "Focus mode" should be the default way of playing the game seriously, it shouldn't need this extra step of pressing a button to have more responsive combat that also messes up with the way you memorized your keybindings because it changes now the sprint button to the "exploit wound attack" (forgot it's name)
  • Talking about that mechanic (exploit wound mechanic) that mechanic is absolutely awesome and the highlight for me of what little I managed to play today.

I am worried for the game because this was looking really good until I played the beta, they really need to do something about how bad the game looks vs how much it demands from your PC because otherwise I expect a lot of negative response if the game launches in this state.

i would love the game to be delayed and changed back to worlds formula tbh i dont hate current gameplay it reminds me a bit of GU but its 100% a step back from worlds! focus mode is just ♥♥♥♥ after the 5 time you do it just becomes annoying !

I dont understand why they did not go with world's engine, it's like they were developing dragons dogma 2 and wilds at same time on trash re engine...

Who knows, they probably test it on rtx4090 and tells you, yes it's now playable, if it's unplayable for you on release, go upgrade your pc, it'll be the first game ever exist at this year that minimum requirement is a rtx4080, a cyberpunk situation all over again.

well tbh havok engine is ♥♥♥♥ they did good with it for worlds but its a crap engine ! RE engine is good i just think the design choices are ♥♥♥♥ lol

They said that about Anthem, about BF2042, about cyberpunk and so many more games and they all released as a buggy unoptimized mess, it's beyond me how you all still believe that.

RE Engine sucks. Wilds does not looks better than World (which used their old engine, MT Framework) yet the performance is significantly worse. RE Engine was created and optimized for non-open-world games (Resident Evil) and cannot handle large open locations.

"More improved state" How much more? Like 5x the FPS more? Anything less than that is unacceptable at this point really and I highly doubt they're even close to that. Even doubling the current frame rates is basically garbage since your average person is only getting 30 fps at native resolutions.

This is what i dont get from capcom defenders. Like if they FIX optimization, they need to put their min/rec specs without fake fps generation thing. This won't happen, it's pretty much doomed game.
