capcom officially stated this beta is old and the game obviously runs much better than this damn beta.. wth is up with ppl saying the game is gonna be a mess when this beta is old as hell

You believe a company that just wants your money more than the beta you just experienced? Do you really think the beta was a version that was a year old or what? At best a few month old and even then the time is limited till release. The tech of the beta was so bad they have a huge amount of things to fix.

Then why did they release an old beta version to the public that clearly paints the game in a negative light? I obviously am not judging the final product based on a beta, but the fact that they chose to make the game publically available in this mess of a state isn't good publicity for it. I didn't have performance issues running the game with DLSS (I haven't turned it off since I'm on a 4060 and don't expect much from this card) but I think it's just weird that it doesn't look or feel like an improvement over World or even Rise.

i dont believe its a year old but i do believe most if not everything has been fixed.. this is more than likely just a stress test but if something isnt fixed up from beta im sure the 3 months until release they will fix whatever else needs fixing.. you actually think capcom released the final build of the game in a beta stress test? lol

more than likely a stress test my dude having ps5 xbox and steam all in one they need to test all that obviously with an older build aka A BETA!!!

Interesting logic. Most things are already fixed but they still show this technical mess to the world. Guess Dragons Dogma 2 was also really polished when they released it on pc, oh wait...

dragons dogma is not capcoms main bread and butter.. and i highly highly doubt it got a beta drop.. you know.. a beta.. not a demo.. BETA lol

Because Capcom has had a recent history of bad performance and optimzation with games like DD2. I'm more cautious than anything, since they DID have performance issues with World on release but fixed it in due time, but since this is an entirely different engine I hope that they haven't shot themselves in the foot with performance on it. We can only speculate how much better their current build runs compared to the beta.

Oh right. The other dozens of betas ive played all said its not the final product but guess what? In 95% of cases they were but Capcom is obviously different. You are right. Nothing to see here guys, the fanboys have spoken, all is well.

do you honestly think the game is going to be a cyberpunk 77 situation at launch? or just as bad as it is for pc players during this beta? really?

They will improve some things but I highly doubt we will see double fps or anything close. From a technical point of view thats nearly impossible unless its a massive bug killing fps. You cant spend years to make a game and think you can suddenly massively improve everything in just a few month. Thats not how it works at all. Anyone with coding experience knows this. Therefore you wont see massive improvements for people with minimum requirement hardware. My system can easily handle the game so I hope they just fix the ugly graphics and get rid of the grainy look and bad textures. The problem is you guys are coping hard without any ground for it. The latest capcom pc releases are already a warning and this beta is huge red flag.
