is it fully open world or is it just like worlds with a map and you have to watch 20 mins of dogsh-t dialog to link up with someone for one hunt? i beat worlds and hated that.

As far as I can tell from the beta, it's completely open world.

No, it has open locals. Meaning you can explore the area, but you wont unlock more without doing main quests.

It's instanced with 80 (!) players per instance. I hope the next GTAOnline will be like this instead of the mere 16 players per game, not to mention outdated silly 4 player instances in Warframe

As a person with 500+ excellent 8/0+ rating movies and TV series n my backlog - can confirm - gaming stories are horrendous. I don't understand why the game devs are even trying to create anything resembling a story arc when all I need from them is a co-op fun?

And there is plenty of co-op fun I see in MHWilds - much. much more than in MHWorld whrre I've had 600 (!) hours Starting from the 80-player instances.

The game's "expeditions" now feel more like World's Guiding Lands. Meaning that getting into "the open world" (like expeditions), is seemless and you could just stay there and farm monsters WITH bonus rewards just like quests. When you do enough damage to a monster that way, it starts "a quest." They even show you the potential bonus rewards for engaging monsters that way.

You can skip cutscenes now if you want.

You can make the rewards flow go faster if you want.
