And no not all games hog GPU some are CPU heavy.
Typically higher graphics options put more stress on the gpu.
While, lower graphics options can shift some of that load onto the cpu....
With your cpu being the weak link, lower graphics options may make it run worse due to putting more load on the cpu.
CPU optimization in re engine games is always bad you need 7800x3d to have above 60 fps in basecamp. for games like re4 remake it's fine, but make something bigger and it runs like ♥♥♥♥.
I mean if it can it will im sure lol my brother has a much lesser cpu and can run it. But running it and getting the best out of it aren't always the same lol he has to play on the lowest settings, But also barely squeaks into the minimum.
