Can't see players in lobbies

Pretty much cant see anyone, there's many people on the list and 2 of my friends. is this a setting I have to switch on?

had this issue as well - in town and on a quest

friend i joined was completely invisible
but the monster was fighting him

If your fighting a monster then you need to envori link or be on the same quest.

we were on the same quest
we did environment link
we did the other link as well
we also are in a squad together

a good portion of the initial quests locks you in a state where you cannot see others. Are you still on like the first few quests?

why would it first work and then stop working
why would game allow you to invite players into your world
fight your monsters - and have your monsters fight them
but not show their character model ?
