Seikret problems
I really really hope that this isn't how the Seikrets are in the final game. I for the life of me could NOT get them to stop auto pathing, I changed the settings around, I hit the "stop" button and nothing worked. I ended up just quitting the game as it was so frusturating. I was very excited for the Seikrets as I had so much fun with Palamutes but I'd honestly rather run everywhere than have to use a mount that has no freedom to it.

Please, if you have ANY reccomendations to help me fix this please let me know otherwise I sadly don't know if I will be playing the game.

I believe that you can turn the auto pathing off in the options somewhere.

You seriously can't control that thing, like you do palamute?

Right Trigger and pulling back on the left analog stick reins them in.
Still agree it shouldn't be on by default, but yeah

Correction further (edited): There's a second button that does free movement. On keyboards, it defaults to Q. You can view it in the Basic Controls under Play Guide.

This automatically and completely disables automove instantly. :) Tap Tab to reenable automove, Q to disable again... You can cycle it like this infinitely.

I really hope they improve the Seikrets before the game releases. For some reason they have them on auto pathing, but even when I turned off that option, every time you mount the thing, it keeps automatically sprinting in another direction. It got so frustrating to the point that I was yelling STOP STOP!! while spamming down on the D pad, because it won't stop running. Feels like your fighting the controls. It's crazy, palamute's felt much better than these things. really hope they fix this beta and give us an updated beta closer to release. Been having numerous problems even while playing on recommended specs.
its honestly a nightmare I would rather run everywhere
The auto pathing was annoying I want it the opposite lol I press a button to auto path not I press it to stop it only for it to do it again if I touch anything 🤣

What is the seikret to your powers!!

if you are still playing the beta this weekend, change the options as I explain here:

Why do we even have auto pathing ? Maybe auto combat as well on febuary ?
Let the players just stay afk the games plays itself yay

Yeah... the auto pathing was such a weird decision. Even if it was added to help people navigate the map and they get way bigger later, it's intrusive to me. It makes sense for tutorial sections, but that's it. Once the game actually begins, you don't need it anymore. The gloves should be off by then.

So you can sharpen and other things? Also likely the upper rock paths. Not sure why it's on default though.
