Unacceptably bad RAM usage.
It is utterly unacceptable that the game is failing to even compile shaders due to "OUTOFMEMORY" errors when I have the required 16GB of system RAM and 6GB of GPU RAM according to the store page. And I gave the game as much RAM as I possibly could, having only Steam open, which is a requirement for the game to launch and the windows background processes which I of course cannot close.

If you want me to have 32GB of RAM Capcom then tell me, but if the target truly is 16 then the demo fails spectacularly.

64GB bought from shady guy I never seen nor before nor after work, luckily, fine.
And yeah 16GB isn't exactly enough nowadays, 32 is average.

they actually are fairly expensive, if you'd go look. Its not 2010. RAM is hundreds of dollars a kit now.

Well yeah when you go to buy 128GB of DDR5 of course it'll cost an arm and a leg, tends to happen when you only cherry pick the very most expensive options. Looking on amazon of all places I was able to find 32GB kits at an average of $40-50, not "hundreds of dollars"

Well as I ended the post then, they should tell me that, because according to the store page the ammount I have is sufficient. It's not even a "I barely meet the Min Specs" 16GB is also the reccomended specs
heads up, i know this is old. but do you have an intel cpu? this could be the issue your having. update your microcode. tho it might be too late.

its not about ram. its about intel having a really bad run of cpus. it gives that error. google "13th/14th gen Intel chip microcode"

I agree with other in this thread. This sounds like an INTEL CPU Microcode issue.

In my tests the game did never take more then 8-9GB of RAM in any situation.
When it comes to GPU VRAM it was mostly 10-12GB. But when it comes to system RAM never above 9GB. What do you have running in the background and OS? I hope no IGPU that also takes its cut from the RAM avalaible.
