why does the game look like its PS1 graphics?
ok.. 1) there is a bug in the game that when you try to change graphic setting WHILE playing... you get a black screen. 2) im playing on steam deck. the game itself plays very well.. the issue is graphics.. i tried lowest and i tried going as high as i could.. bro this game looks like it was made for PS1 potato quality. 💀 100% they need to work on the graphics.. when it looks like low settings on high.

Bro, I envy you on how you made the game play on Steam Deck. I have a friend who is looking forward to the beta and I already gifted him the game. I checked on youtube the performance on the deck and it hovers around 15-19fps on native AA while with FSR 3 with Frame Gen, it hovers around 23-28fps.
idk i feel like capcom could maybe do an update or 2 and the game would be fixed for the most part. i hope they understand that a huge portion of people arent running the latest pcs and stuff and they downgrade a bit

I am at a point where IF the game still looks like this ps1 nightmare fuel on launch, I will refund it with a broken heart. I just don't have the means to own a bloody super computer or a new console.

I think it often comes down to a rendering problem. Sometimes it feels like the game renders close things like they were far away. Because in general the game looked great for me... but I just bought a high end PC last year so I am pretty much set up.

1) get 16Gb card

2) set textures on highest

3) turn off motion blur and depth of field

Meanwhile I'm playing on 90+ fps on a laptop, with all highest settings :lunar2019piginablanket: (DLSS on, 1080p, 0.66 DLSS sharpeness) And the game looks superb, starting from the characters.

I tried the Beta today

My Rig is heavily outdated with a 9-Year-old GPU.
I only could run at Lowest Quality, what I were expecting in the firstplace, with around 15-25fps

But even a friend, who has a High-end Device, tested the beta and said the graphics aren't well-made.

I swear, I played Cyberpunk on Low/Mid, and Vanilla Starfield (the Star Wars Mod pack I want to play, don't run yet for my Rig)

And I also played a few other Games, where my Rig was below Min Requirements, but I never, had something like that on a Low Quality Setting.

In the Intro where the Leader speaks to ya, my Character had proper Textures, the girl that step inside after the talk, also had a Face Texture, but the Leader looked like he were just copied and pasted from an old PS1 Game. He had no Face Texture, and you only saw the mouth moving, but the eyes were just empty and ps1 low poly skin.

I don't expect much with my Rig, but when even people critique the bad graphics and performance on High End. I don't know what I should think about it.

Edit: Like I said, I don't expect much from Low Settings, like I used in other games. But that just looks, like they developed the game for High End Rigs only, and then put the Low Quality Option just on top in last seconds xD

Like Cyberpunk showed me, its possible to play a game good also on Low, I had 2 Runs and around over 150h? What I would had not done, when the Game looks like a PS1 Game like it was on that beta
