I7 8700k - 1070ti. 20fps on lowest possible settings at half of 1080p resolution.

I have made this PC play any modern game at least 60 fps @1080p on medium settings, this is absolute garbage performance. Upscaling breaks the game entirely with a black screen. I've played every single MH game since freedom two and will not pay $70 for this unoptimized trash.

i agree its trash optimization. but ur cpu not above min spec, while ur gpu only about to match minimum spec.

I'm messing with it with no expectation of really being able to run it currently, but was hoping to grab the beta item for later. But yeah not unlike myself you're below the minimum requirements they listed on the game so that's to be expected.

That being said it doesn't help that they intentionally built the game style around the idea of requiring the frame generation to work, and for Nvidia users earlier in the GTX 1000 series and earlier that means no DLSS.

Though I can't really say I'm having luck with XeSS or FSR much either and typically those are actually quite good. But again, wasn't expecting I could run this functionally myself either really.

I have a 1080ti and I got the same issue. Be it medium or lowest settings it runs the same. Game's going to be a skip for me unfortunately. I'll be avoiding anything related to this game from now on and grab it + the dlc on sale a couple years from now when I have a better PC.

Their CPU is fine. It's their graphics card that's really old. But even then the game looks like playdough right now for a lot of people.

activate FSR and be happy, the game only runs with it active

I have 3070ti / 32GB Ram , Medium settings, DLSS Performance (that already makes the game blurry as hell) and I still only get 45 FPS, so it's definitely not just you.

The people that give suggestions should maybe tell us their specs and what FPS they get.

I've got a RTX 3050 and I still feel like it's the blurriest game ever. Textures are atrocious even on medium and the game and with dlss it either super grainy or blurry. Don't know how Capcom can fix this though.

I wouldn't call fine, it's still part of an older generation. The GPU for certain will hold them back though.

Looking at your most recently played games, all of them have recommended hardware lower than this game, so you should expect a bigger performance hit on this game (even more so because it's a beta) You're going to have to accept that your hardware is outdated and you're going to run into a lot of issues going forward.

I run a 3080, 5800X. I am pushing around 70 fps at 1440p. But what's interesting is that's consistent no matter what settings I choose. Very Low, Low, Medium, High. They all grant me around 70fps. I think it may have some kind of funk going on, I have no idea. I don't think I have ever played a game with such consistent performance no matter the graphic settings. It's very weird. I even dropped it to 720p, still 70fps. When my monitor runs at 144hz and I have octuple checked my settings. I have no idea what's causing this.

I will also note that on my PS5 the performance was also kinda poor, I don't think I was getting more than 40fps on console. So this isn't just pc, it's across all platforms it seems.

Though, given the weird ♥♥♥♥ that my pc is doing, I am really hoping there is some kind of bug that is messing with performance. I am going to hope they fix the performance of this game before the final release.

1070, i7-6700K, 16gb ddr4 ram and I can't even get stable 30 fps with ps1 graphics lmao. Yeah my computer is old at this point but my specs are still complete overkill for virtually everything i'm actually interested in playing, and even in unoptimized openworld trash like Elden Ring I can get stable 60 fps on medium settings. MHR is on the same engine as this and I can get stable 120 on high. Skipping this game until something else i'm more interested actually forces me to upgrade, or unless the moron MHW team miraculously learns how to optimize their games (this won't happen)
