MH: Wilds Offline Question
I've played the PS5 beta for the game and love it however I still prefer the game on PC which i currently have a home setup and a travel/work setup that i use. My travel/work setup is required to be offline and wanted to know if this game is gonna be offline play just like worlds is? Also should have made the beta test available for Steam/Linux ahead of Playstation since testing needs to be more frequent on PC because of Stability/Performance of servers and clients (Especially Clients). Not the best move Capcom.

Well Sony could not get an exclusive period for the release, so they got the next best thing to hype up PS+. Maybe an actual Demo will be released like RIse for further network testing.

I have not found any official statements but from what I read online it should be playable offline, apart from Denuvo requiring periodic online time to verify whatever it does.

ive not heard any statements one way or the other, but i dont see any reason why it wouldnt be like world.

the beta is online only mainly for testing the servers...but upon release offline will be possible
its definitely going to have some kind of offline mode, there wouldn't be a pause button in the menu otherwise, it exists in the beta but is greyed out for obvious reasons, and besides it would be a pretty big and unwanted move to make a MH game online-only

this isn't the only bit of testing you'll be able to do either BTW, there will be a real demo in the future that will hopefully stick around forever same as rise/sunbreak's does, this beta is still missing the flagship challenge mission that most mh demos have

The main reason for the beta to be online only is to prevent people from just playing the beta forever until release. It's a beta not a demo.
