Never played DD2, so never expect this one... Damn... CPU and GPU Heavy... What kind of game they try to pull?? Crypto Online Game??
I just want it as stable as World... It runs perfectly on my GTX 1650 Ti...
I will... I hope my machine could run it...
True... But it was good enough on my machine... Would be nice if it gonna be better... or not...
With rise, I would say it was good that it was released on switch... otherwise it would have been in the same situation that DD2 was when it came out.
I'm curious to see how this game performs, and whether or not they'll continue to use RE engine going forward, with all of it's vulnerabilities.
it seems like their battling 2 fronts right now.
That's why I said it was good it was released on switch. The release of DD2 was just full blown 2 energy drinks with 2 hours sleep driving down the highway 3 times the speed limit - development mentality.
The minimum requirements is meaningless when they are on the same par as the recommended, and even then - it was too low for it - They used the GPU and CPU as transitional loading options - In town it was CPU heavy, and outside of town it was GPU heavy.
With the switch they had limitations - and those limitations required them to not go full bonkers - the engine itself is not a open world engine, it's a linear world engine made into a open world engine.
This is why I'm waiting to see how wilds performance is and whether or not they'll continue using it - they are also trying to combat modders as well.
From Videos it looks like a slighty superior World with more High Res Textures here and there.
My Expectations are always Low with them anyway.
By far, this franchise doesn't let me down since bygone era... If they blown up this one... It's joever... as like Ass-Creed for me...
Combating Modders is Stupid IMO... Most modders make the game more playable and palatable (in terms of QOL)... Sure Noodies aren't needed but demanded by most player, but to combat the QOL and Mechanics Modder also is a bad treatment to the fans.
Hard to compare them, DD2 is an open world and had a lot of stuff going on, both graphically and just moving CPUs (some anyway) had it rough in town with all the citizens.
But wilds here is looking good so it's safe to assume it'll take a bit of both. Won't know till we see the minimum specs.
