thoughts on the new characters and there designs?

To me I really like the designs of the player, gemma (smithy) and the palico. But for some reason to me Alma (handler) doesn't look right, her clothing looks like it didn't come from the world. But I also get this bad vibe from nata (weird mysterious kid) not evil vibes, but world handler vibes from him

From what it looks like, it could be made from a material similar to the Slagoth hood or Great Wroggi armor.
The second girl (glasses) is already wearing something similar to the handlers in World as well.

I mean, we aren't wearing the same clothes as we did hundreds of years ago, are we?
Heck, just the last century, I feel like we went through 5 different fashion senses

A monster didn't fit in Monster Hunter? That's wild.

It was one of the arguments from Worldbabies to try to get Rise to fail.

Gemma, the smith, a good chunk of her outfit is taken from the Caravaneer, one of the MCs from 4/4U. MH fashion has never been consistent, clothes are clothes, and we know canonically, a good chunk of folks are fashionistas.

I thing I understand now why I don't really like the handlers outfit, it really plain and boring compared to other handlers that have really striking and eye catching designs
