RE: Engine was always supposed to be Capcom's replacement for their MT Framework engine, which It's scale-able and multipurpose to work on different kinds of hardware, just like with the Epic Games' Unreal Engine. It was never "Made for the Switch", so I don't know where you got that idea from.

Seems to me like you only got that idea because you seem too invested in pointless console kid wars.

Who said that? RE engine on Rise was never going to look good since it's on switch which has limit.

i still feel like wilds will be on nintendos next console but will have to wait and see.

Betting 85% chance Wilds is a Switch 2 launch title.

More than likely, Nvidia leaker confirmed that Nintendo actually delayed the Switch 2 specifically so more devs would have time to make launch titles. Knowing Capcom's relationship with Nintendo, Wilds being on the Switch 2 is nearly guaranteed.

Wilds is going to be Capcom's most sold game when it releases on most likely everything.

It makes sense given nintendos install base, the success of generations ultimate and rise as well as the fact the game looks to be about the same graphically as world and the new system is rumored to be a bit stronger than a ps4 pro with DLSS tech included for even better performance. The DLSS alone will let that system do a lot more than people think. If you've ever used DLSS you know how it's basically like performance boosting black magic

Exactly. Maybe it'll fine shut the Snoys up about their console being strong or whatever.

It doesn't look that much better than World. Games are reaching the upper limit of graphic fidelity. At this point it's whether a game can hold 60fps or not.
???

RE Engine debuted with PC Resident Evil 7? Like the RE is quite literally Resident Evil...

Is this a poormans award bait post or something?

It looks 10 times better than world, which I just couldn't play because of how bad it looked. Time to upgrade to a 4K monitor.

That's a wild exaggeration. Even in the trailer, there are shots that look worse that World. The Greatsword user grappling with the monster's mouth for example: the monster's mouth looks like textureless puddy.

I'm super worried for how the game will run with so many NPCs around. World was kind of a mixed bag early on and Iceborne hurt the performance for a lot of players (not for me personally). But after seeing Dragons dogma 2 i am extremely skeptical.
