Judging by how the weapon(s) looked in the short trailer they gave us, you are in for a disappointment, I'd say. And besides - there's likely going to be an option to use any weapon as a skin, so you will be able to equip this so called "manly and serious gamer weapon".
But it's better actually if the weapons are bone/metal at the start of the weapon tree and after some upgrades they are half bone/metal and half monster parts and then again after some upgrades the weapons all have a completely monster parts design.
Either this way, or the design (completely made out of monster parts) changes while upgrading the weapon.
Because even if many of the half bone/metal weapon designs look bad.. it's also not that great if you upgrade your weapon to rarity 4 (as example) and then its looking the same for the rest of the game, even with dlc and the design basically never changes.. maybe only changes the color at the end because of a subspecies..
