What's Your MH Wilds Feature Wishlist
Personally, id like...

1- Player controlled mounts, which it look like we're getting.

2- Follower system brought back from rise and with additional depth. As a solo player i enjoy having the option to have an npc companion that's not a cat or dog. it should be available from the start

3- Scout fly options, in particular i'd like to choose how prominent they are. World's were a bit too in your face for my liking.

4- New weapon type, i don't really care what kind.

5- Buildable and customizeable hub. I like the idea of hunting monsters not just for weapons and armor but for construction materials to build a town.

6- for the love of all that is monster hunter... tone down the amount of flying wyverns. and just wyverns in general tbh. where my fanged beasts at? (Snake wyverns are aight. just don't go overboard on the reptiles.)

7- Underwater combat, mostly cause i've never played it and i want to decide which side of the fence i'd fall on. Love or hate.

8- I'd like the option to carry a captured/slain monster on the back of a player controlled wagon, you could drive it back to base for even more rewards. It could also act as bait, like it could draw other large monsters to you to hunt.

9- Layered armor that's available from the start. It's stupid having to wait until endgame to make your hunter look good. No more hobo hunters! Pls and thank you.

10- Please, no more sieges. At least none like Zorah magdaros. If i have to hit one more fking rock on that turtle ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ back...

Been waiting for a new weapon type for ages

In no particular order...

- Accepting multiple missions at once and being allowed to explore the world and complete them in any order at our leisure, either actively seeking them out, or as we happen upon them by chance (main story campaign aside).

- More varied mission types. Kinda like sieges, but without requiring multiple, grinding runs with squads only. Multi-stage/phase hunts could be fun.

- An improved decoration system. Firstly, standardizing a single label across the board so there wasn't both a jewel name and a skill name. And secondly, more control over acquiring them, like, once you've discovered a jewel for the first time, you can meld it specifically. I'm thinking RNG rolls are cheap, but specific melds are costly.

- Tying palico equipment to loadouts so you don't have to equip both individually.

- Does friendly fire really add anything to the game? Would people hate it if it was gone?

- Might be asking a lot, but would love to see some large, underground interconnected cavern systems to explore.

- Less Astera hub, more Seliana hub. Having vendors more closely clustered together instead of strewn across a large area or a couple of floors. I heard someone suggest a movable airship hub. I'm so down for that it hurts.

- Armour that's levelled up more like weapons (parts, rather than spheres). So, crafting a set, then having it be useful and relevant from start to finish. It really sucks working for ages to get the parts for something, then binning it once the next difficulty tier unlocks.

- Breaking parts more significantly affecting monster abilities. It's weird loping off a tail only for the monster to still do tail whips. Would love to see the moveset change as breaks are inflicted.

Could be here all day, but I'll leave it there. Think they're the big ones on the wishlist.

On your first one, adding on, you could put request boards in the camp sites too.

I just want it to be easier to play through the story missions Co-op seamlessly and not have to wait for cut scenes to play out before firing an sos so that someone can join. Being able to join story missions from the get go and just play with friends is my 1 and only wish

As a fan of rise combat and world movement, I hope they keep wirebugs in the game for the extra move sets, as they made combat 100x more fun in rise (hammer wasn't just spin to win like in world). I do think they should tone down or straight up remove wirebugs as a general movement mechanic though because I feel like it made rise way too easy. In rise you could just wirebug away from 99% of danger without any effort.

removal of paid dlc, like layered armor, weapon etc
it's nice to have something like handler skin as paid dlc or room accessory
but if it's goes to player equipment and cosmetic, it's gonna ruin end game content in this IP
if it cosmetic doesnt matter, community wouldn't care about fashion hunting

- No pay to win equipment or paid monsters to fight against.
- No dead huge open world.
- At least 1 new weapon type. Maybe dual Lance? Two, but smaller ones with piercing combos and being able to combine them in one, two handed lance. Or maybe some kind of chainsaw sword. But not something out of the MH universe, like magnet spike (we are in the unga bunga age?) or tonfa (hello gravity), which does not fit the theme.
- More varied music tracks. More music. Friontier had the best ones and many.
- Zenith TIER-like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (monsters).
- Maybe more RPG elements, like leveling stats and distributing points when leveled UP. Let me grind that Uber Power if I want to.
- MH World had best immersion so far. Let it stay.
- Each weapon Tier upgrade to at least slightly change weapon appearance. Leathers Sword I and Leather Sword II to look different, for example.
- Some kind of village upgrade function? Like when you collect enough materials, you can visually and functionally upgrade village. I really love progression mechanics.
- Alien type monsters, from space. I think Valstrax is kind of alien like or Xeno 'Jiiva? I want more.
- Better character creation. So far we had very basic one, with very few options of variety. How about height, body type and face shaping

- anticheat, or at least verified mods.
- more weapons, ~ twohand Axe
- versatile skill option, switching out skills like in Rise, less flashy like mhw
- more dark/grim story telling/settings 18+ (will never happen lol)

I wish MH Wilds is Open World Multiplayer without Hub. We can create server room which have 4 or 6 players in that server so we can meet other players in the headquarter and world map without go to hub.

Same to be honest. I hardly used Clutch Claw... it felt clumsy at times and I hate the constant "rebuffing" feeling at the back of my head.

That being said I only want few things from new MH game :

1. New Weapon / Combos.

2. Serious TONE / Atmosphere. I remember playing MH 1 on PS2 and on the back cover there was a line that said something like this : Hunt or be Hunted. Dark atmosphere was achieved by sound design, music and most of all EVERYTHING TRIED TO KILL the player. Annoying bulldrome, cats, mosquito's etc. There was more emphasis on surviving in a harsh environment rather than "cute" tone of modern Monster Hunter games.

3. Please let me skip cutscenes ! ( when making a 2nd character this is a must in my books ).

4. Make co op seamless ( right now player who wants to join the host needs to complete story quest too ). It should unlock story progression for both !

5. If the game doesn't collect data / have any extra accounts like CAPCOM ID etc. Then it's even better. Can't stand live service games.

6. Minimum of 60 large monster at a release would be nice to see...

Everything you described in your list, Rise already did, except serious tone. MonHun has NEVER had a serious tone, even back in MH1 and 2, the Arena Master was a goofball. The Kokoto guildie was "serious" in the sense that she was injured seveerely and had to quit being a hunter, but kept trying to sneak out to hunt. Expecting serious moods from MonHun is like expecting color from Call of Duty.

The most brilliant way to skip cutscenes I saw was in Lost Ark. Basically, if everyone votes to skip, you will skip, if at least one from the party decides not to, the cutscene continues till the end

-it would be cool if it's open world, and you're playing something like a nomad, traveling between villages/camps/towns, and doing quests for the people living there,

-i'd love to fight dalamadur in an open world setting

-it'd be pretty awesome if they'd return some of my favorite monsters, without nerfing them

-more high damage weapons; i kept waiting for the numbers to go up when looking at swords in Rise, but the big numbers from World never showed up. i want 800+ damage on my big fighty weapon please.

-i liked the grittines of world, the story was pretty good, the characters were kinda so-so,
-wishing the food will look delicious again


-having played a monster hunter with underwater fights in the past, and that being the reason i couldn't complete the game, i'm opposed a number of wishes voiced here, unless there's significant improvement to the battles, and not impossible if one uses a big weapon vs. a ranged weapon

Not keeping Rise's Hunting Horn/separating Rise's Hunting Horn into a variant Hunting Horn weapon type, light light and heavy bowgun.

Seriously, I hate the damn thing, it's got a drastically higher damage output, sure, but it just feels so shallow and lifeless compared to the directional attacks and dancing around the monster while playing a concert consisting of tones and hitsounds in its face that we have in pre-Rise games.



Oh and having interesting weapon designs, don't screw over the fun with 'realistic'
generic weapon designs like World was plagued with, be interesting, have fun, bring over designs from old games and so-on.
