So far as I have seen that should work the best but many who have had the issue found that starting over also worked.
You just may to start over again not that big of a deal really I have created so many character for FONV and FO3 i bet I have spent 5 or 6 hours in character creation.
Also I was moving REALLY slow for some reason, and shift/capslock had no effect.
The mods you disabled most likely had nothing to do with it and are likely just fine you just precived them to be the cause. If in doubt check your load order with FNVEdit it will spot corrupted mods.
Also if you suspect a mod read though the first two or three pages of comments in its discussion section any common issues will be mentioned as well as how to fix them.
Sometimes the glitch can occur at the grip machine as well.
To me in a game or car or walking on my own two feet if I do not have complete cotrol then I dont really have control do I?
For the record, I found out the original "can't sit" bug I mentioned in my first post was initiated BEFORE the "grip machine". I can tell because I would walk abnormally slow, and if I tried to jump, I'd take one rapid step right as I landed, only to move slow again.
You see the console commnads are actually a tool used for game development so they can test numerous things easily in the game with some games like FONV the Devs allow use of the console by everyone mainly to allow mod makers to test their mods in the game.Of for the casual player console commands can be useful as well. The fact that you have had the bug before and in the middle of the game seems unusal to me as so far as I can tell partial or total lose of control is rare.
Are you also maintaining the same frame rate when this happnes or does that dip considerably? I ask this becuase perhaps you are actually suffering a sudden drop in FPS and in fact have control but the very low frame rate makes it seem like you do not have control.Trust me at 10 or less FPS FONV will be uncontrollable even when the controls are in fact working but the frame rate makes the reaction to input virtually at nil.
The second time I had the problem was during the vault 11 slideshow. Exact same issue. The video didn't start because it didn't consider me "sitting".
Thanks for the help, I was going insane.
Thanks for necroing a TWO YEAR OLD THREAD
