New Vegas Activation Key Problem
I live in the US and i got a copy of FallOut New Vegas: Ultimate Edition from a family member from EU after I received the game, I put the disk in the computer, I get to the part where i have to put in the Game Activation Key and when I type it in it says "Sorry, this product is not available for purchase in this country" or now I tried it again and it's saying "the product code you just entered is not valid". This is a new game never used.

Instead of trying to install by disk try activating the game through steam and see if you can download the game.

its not gonna work , games are locked into regions , part copy right , part monitary ,part content, just buy the game ,

it will be waste of money to buy another copy of this game since i already have one.

no you have a game key for a diferent region , it will not work here. a few years ago there was an issue where alot of people were buying game keys from i think tialand because they were extremely cheap , they were in affect avoiding taxes , ect , for the region they live in , the game makers got mad , game sales are tied to regions , so that local laws and taxes ,and all that crap are not cercumvented

You can change your region settings on your computer. Go to Control panel->Clock, Language, and region->region and language then in the window opened there will be 4 tabs at the top. Go to the administrative tab and click on change system locale and change it accordingly. I cannot say what other changes this will make but I've played ragion locked japanese games this way.

This is assuming you're on windows 7. Idk how to do it on other systems but I figure it's likely pretty similar.

to YALEBOR: Ah so that's why they put it in affect makes sense
to Davos Seaworth: yeah i'm a windows 7 i will try it and get back to you on whether it worked or not
