No boat to Fortification Hill

As usual, with no clues given in the game, I was villified by the Legion when I went to take the boat to Fortification Hill. No choice but to take everyone out - even the boat guy since he was hostile and you couldn't talk to him. So, I'm screwed, except checking out some Forums, one said there was a way to walk there (very long trek), and another said there was a way to move your cursor off the map. ?? Anyone have a work-around to get to Fortification Hill?

BTW, my Saves are also bugged, and no way to access prior save (no matter what, quick save, hard save, auto save... no matter how I save in-game, every time I go back to Load, only the last save is listed). I can live with that, just don't want to lose this quest. Can't finish without the Platinum Chip. Also, I talked to House after this incident, and he instructed me to get the chip and access his bunker - I thought it would reinstate the boat, but no luck.

You should just be able to click on the raft for the option to go to The Fort.

Can't you use the console? Use this command:

coc 000ddcfd

If that doesn't work try this one:

coc 000ddd0c

That should teleport you to the main gate.

Jacknyx - thanks for the no help. I've probably been playing RPG for longer than you've been on the planet, and know the drill. I don't follow walkthroughs, so my comment was that a main story thread could have been compromised if not for some help. Again, thanks to those who had a clue.

First time that happened I looked around a bit, then checked the raft because having no other transport option wouldn't make sense. I usually make sure to test everything I can think of before asking for help. ;D
