How to finish the quest?

I got the quest where I had to get the body of Ranger Morale's. I read on the wiki that a short while after I grab his corpse, NCR Troopers will offer to pick the corpse for me. But, unfortunately, those troopers died when I was attacked by the Legion.
I tried to carry the body the entire way, but when I enter the NCR HQ the body is left outside.
How can I finish this quest?

I don't recall for sure, but I remember I had to wait a few days (3 days?) in order to let the soldiers respawn to give the body to them.
Maybe you can use the resurrect command? Not sure as wel, I didn't need to use the code at that time.

There's a couple of soldiers behind sandbags nearby that you need to bring it to. Just wait a few days and they should come back. =P

It's not too bad. At least you aren't walking through the entirely of Lonesome Road to get there.

Good to know that there's an easy solution, damn random legion attacks...

If you get shot they even lampshade you taking damage simply to recover a body.
