Elder McNamara won't move!!

[Chaos Engines]

The quest is "Still in the Dark", I'm now meant to speak to him in the conference room place, but he is just stuck. He doesn't move or anything.
When I try and speak to him he says "Speak to me in the conference room". But he doesn't even make his way there. I've tried quitting and reloading, leaving the place and coming back. Even after winding forwards many hours he still just stands there!!

This quest is quite important.. Please help me debug this/make him move.

I'll really apreciate and replys or advice. Many thanks in advance

p.s is their any way to do this so i can still earn achments ? thanks

I'm having the same issue. He's stuck behind the table in the medical room and won't move. I tried using the console to disable/enable & kill/ressurect and he just re-appears in the same spot and stands there.
Any other suggestions?

I've had that same issue EVERY single playthrough... everytime... Choongsil's remedy above is the only way i could fix it, even though i despise cheating, had to do it, it was the games fault, it made me do it.... Bring up the console with ~ key... while you're in there click on Elder Stand-Around... make sure his script code pops up, give it a second or two... type kill. now this part is really important... touch nothing else, no keys, no mouse clicks... then type resurrect... give it a few more seconds... then bring down the console with ~ Sometimes it takes a few tries, but this should reset him and not affect your quest lines at all.

Could also use the moveto.player command, i think thats it, or its player.moveto something like that, just stand were you want to move him to, click McNamara and do the command

Same problem here! None of the console commands work but I'll try repeating it to over and over.

This also happened to me, I just keep reloading save files again and again or load to a previous save file.
