If you want to side with the NCR, then you won't be able to fully complete Mr. House's quest line.

And the same goes for Mr. House. You can't side with two major factions at the same time.

Somehow I managed to be both Indie and NCR on my first playthrough, but I think that's because I did everything with Yes Man, then forced my way through a resulting NCR bug.

Yeah, it was probably a bug. You can side with a factions without losing the independent quest line, but you can't do the independent quest line without failing the other factions' quests.

ah darn :( i ended up killing off the BoS anyways but i heard NCR has good gear/weapons if you do the quest line. is it worth doing? iv pretty much done almost all the Mr.house quest line. so might as well keep going.

Eh. Quartermaster Barton at Hoover Dam is basically an ammo stash the size of Fort Knox, but he doesn't really match the Gun Runners' arsenal.

should i kill him or keep him alive? lol
Doesn't really matter unless you're doing his questline. Everyone else has you knock him off, so if you plan on finishing his quests, don't...besides, there's always the next playthrough. ;D

that's true, ill most likely play the game afew times just to get all the factions and stuff done :) i dont recall if i started his Questline, ill check and kill him off or do it. can i do his questline? 5/5 and then kill him off? lol
After his last quest, you can't go back after heading to the Hoover Dam.

I believe that you're supposed to get warnings from the NCR and Legion right before any further progress in the House line completely forecloses their respective quest lines. If you've failed the quests "Don't Tread on the Bear" and "Something about the Wrath of Caesar", you've gone too far.

You CAN do some of his quest line and then kill him; that forces you to choose the Yes Man! ending. According to the Fallout wiki, it's impossible to permanently destroy Yes Man, probably so that you can't prevent yourself from completing the game at all.

ah well i have already started hoover dam and i dont think i did much with Yes man and iv already done most of Mr.house. i killed off legion already. so i think i went alittle fair. its fine tho cause next time i can just do. Yes man and NCR or something like that.

Just pick one. That avoids conflicts with You'll Know It When You See It.
