Totally white or just normal fair skin? If it's the latter, this will fix it:

Mismatching head and body skin colours?

Another .ini fix, but this time the file is FALLOUT.INI, found under "C:\Users\<your Windows username>\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV". Open it up in your text editor of choice, and search for the line:

bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=0

and change the 0 to 1, so it looks like:

bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1

Just pale faces like the white people in the game.

Alright, try the .ini change in my post. That should fix mismatching skin colours.

Your copy is racist!

Yes, clearly! Let's call Gaben and make him VAC ban Uber's copy!

Lol, but the bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles is = to 1.

That's... really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weird. Are you sure you looked at the right .ini file? There are quite a few.

Yes I did. Guess I might just have to live with it if no one else can help me. :(

You launch ur game through launcher? if so you need to change the bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles is = to 1 at steam/steamapps/common/fallout new vegas/fallout_default.ini , back up it's first though.

Everytime u launch the game with launcher it's apply the Fallout_default.ini & overwrite fallout.ini in my games folder. Another option change settings in the Fallout.ini in my games & launch the game with NVSE (new vegas script extended).

...you may want to open the properties on the .ini file and make it "read-only" after making changes...just a suggestion...

I recently had this after installing a brilliant mod called Fallout Character Overhaul mod.

In the page on the Nexus it actually says to change that value in both a Fallout.ini file AND a FalloutPrefs.ini file, both in the My Games\FalloutNV folder.

It now seems to be fixed, and characters who are black / asian / hispanic etc now have properly matching faces to their bodies.

A link for the mod if this has peaked your interest - http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/54460
