NCR hostile despite having no negative reputations with either one

I walked into the Crimson Caravan company building and they were all hostile, and then later after leaving the Lucky 38 all the NCR MP officers were hostile. Every NPC affiliated with the NCR has been hostile to me, even though I have an "Accepted" reputation with them.

No, I was wearing Reinforced Leather Armor at the time, and I even stripped to nothing on to see if the leather armor was causing the problem and nothing happens.

Maybe you stole something by mistake. You could trying waiting a few days and see if that works. Otherwise you can make them non hostile via console commands I think

You may have accidently attacked one repeatedly, just leave the hostile area and wait for at least 3 days, then return ....all should be good.

Did you accidentaly shoot anyone thats innocent or a ncr soldier?If so it might not effect your reputation sometimes but most NCR will be hostile.

That's what I've been doing, but it resets every time I start up the game again. I'd rather have a permanent solution.

I guess I could always join the Legion if I can't get things back to normal, but that's not something I really want to do.

Use console commands to change the reputation to something friendly just in case and try using another console command to pacify them. I can't remember the exact commands but that should help.

Could be your companion, I know Boon shoots legioneers on sight, there is probobly a legion guy like that who did all the killing or you :D

Reputations have lots of bugs and glitches. I was idolized by the NCR, then vilified, then idolized again. You can try:

*Reloading a save
*Using Console Commands
*Equipting NCR armor and doing quests for them to improve your glitched karmatic status.
