Any fixes for the sliding bug?
Whenever I let go of the movement keys the player slides for a bit, it's really annoying, especially when I want to pick something up.

Nope don't have a video but there's videos on youtube of it. After googling it the only fix seems to be to not look around while stopping, it's a pain in the ass but looks like I'll have to get used to it
Just minimal? Or steps?

If you had the problem you would definitely notice it.

From the third person camera it looks like they slide along the floor, legs not moving, for one or two foot.

I might try get a video of it.

Yeah I've got this issue. It's about twice as bad while sneaking.
What happens if you reduce the grafic?

No change. It seems to be caused by the keyboard controls having low priority, but unfortunately turning off backgroundkeyboard causes my save to not load.

I tried turning down the repeat rate of the keyboard to the slowest, it helps, still not perfect but definitely better than before

It's weird because I don't recall getting this issue in any other game on this engine. It's like Obsidian specifically added it in for some reason.

Nope it's definitely in Fallout 3 too, that game is even worse than new vegas for bugs.

Hmm wonder why I don't remember it. Maybe I just never went the stealth route in that game...

I never had the bug in Fallout 3 or Oblivion on my old PC. Just Vegas on the new one.

I just got the Ultimate edition today, I have that too and it's driving me nuts. Fallout 3 had constant freezes but I somehow managed to fix it, but the fact that nobody could figure out a solution for this (let alone it being patched) is pretty worrying. There must be a cause. I've searched up and down on many forums and the only possible solution (tinkering with the keyboard speeds in the control panels) didn't work for me.

I've read that some didn't have this bug before certain patches or DLCs, for what it's worth. I've tried disabling all DLCs to no avail.

I've also tried basically every graphical and ini setting that could be causing such a thing, with no results. If someone has any ideas please, please let us know. This sort of thing is maddening.
