Now I see I had it all wrong.
I've often thought the possibility of having kids in this game would suddenly make the risks of radiation exposure a whole lot more serious. I'd want to adopt those kids who hang out by the Followers compound in Freeside...get them to stop eating filthy rat-meat.
ONLY AT MICK & RALPH'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WE'VE GOT THINGS WE'RE NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO SELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I happen to know that there are mods for pregnant body types, though those are pretty majorly sexualized and in any case are the prior stage to what you actually want. I don`t think a mod for actual children exists though, mostly because childrearing definetly isn`t within the scope of roles Fallout NV accomodates.
Paired with your other thread for a "restoration" mod, maybe you should play Sims instead ? Or maybe SL ? If you don`t want to be a/the "Courier" in the post-post apocalyptic Mojave... then FO:NV probably isn`t the right venue for you to roleplay in.
What, really?
I mean, I always knew the Nexus is a bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, but seriously?!
Now I have an old, pregnant male Courier running around the wasteland in my mind. Thank you.
I feel happy that the worst I'm thinking of is Dead Or Alive: Wasteland Volleyball. XD
Assuming you're referring to the mandatory hardcore mode for FO4 thread, that's a pretty dishonest mischaracterization of his position. He was quite explicit up-front and throughout the discussion that he valued making it OPTIONAL for people who want it.
...nah, I`m pretty sure I presented his position accurately. And that discussion hardly touched on Fallout anymore.
In the solidly NCR lands, they're trying to get trains up and running, hence the Powder Gangers. Right now it's less about personal transportation and more trying to establish safe zones and supply lines.
Thank-you for paying attention.
As for wolfie there, obviously my views are a threat to his world view. He's obviously determined to start a flame war and get some threads deleted. Don't help him - let him flamerage himself into exile.
If he doesn't grow up and put a sock in it pretty quickly, he's gonna have himself some problems. I'm certain that following members from thread to thread in a childish attempt to bait them into a flame war is against the terms of service we all agreed to.
Oh please. We had a discussion, we disagreed and there were some barbs from either end. I`m hardly following you around the boards and you`ll note that most of that post was on topic, with only the beginning bit designed to needle you a little. In my social circle that`s the equivalent of a greeting hug. If you`d like to continue the exchange of views I`m sure there`s a better place for it than here.
On topic bits :
To the vehicle question, yeah it`s odd when you think about it. Certainly Brahmin are capable of pulling a cart so you`d think caravans would do that - and they do if you look at the looted ones from Cass quest. It`s probably more of an engine limitation or development time constaints thing. I think we`re pretty likely to see vehicles of some sort in the next game, at least as an alternate means of fast travel.
