Nope, the framerate can go above 60 if you disable V-sync in Fallout_default.ini and set it to read only.
Try to find out if it's the interiors or the people who cause it.
The thing is I have not gone into any of the games files ot tinkered with it in any way, It just drops majorly in FPS when I enter the Bar at the start of the game, I have Vsync enabled in game and used Fraps tp show my FPS, it runs well over 60FPS and goes up to 120FPS max (To match the refresh rate of my 120hz monitor)
That was a bit... hostile.
The point was that the cap isn't hardcoded, it's just that the launcher's v-sync option only does half of it's job.
Not if some feature is hardcoded, no. The FPS cap clearly isn't.
The game works just fine after modifying the ini files, that's a perfectly normal thing to do in PC gaming, especially with the lackluster in-game graphics menus we get with the console ports these days. Not a necessary thing by any means, but people who actually care about how their games look and run do this all the time, no need to go all pissy about it.
Wrong, the game will not work just fine after the ini modification. The game will run too fast. I know this not only from personal experience but also from studying about the game online. If I thought it would make you shut up, then I would provide overwhelming links with proof, but I doubt that would even do the trick so why bother ya know?
Alright then, seeing as how you're incapable of conversing like a human being, I'll jump threads.
Flame me all you want to. Your just mad because you were wrong about the Fallout NV frame cap and now you don't know what to say other than cuss me out. Here's an idea: Either admit your were wrong and get over your lack or knowlege, or provide a little proof that you were right. I'm not above admitting when i'm wrong. Obviously your the type who thinks they are always right. Everyone makes a mistake at some point, it's nothing to get mad over.
As Equation pointed out, you're raging at the wrong guy.
Yeah, he must feel like a right special needs kid now, maybe he's this angry cus his mother refused to continue breast feeding him... He's an AngryVideoGameNerd
You.
