The first DLC to be released is Dead Money, but Honest Hearts is good for beginners

Start by leveling to atleast level 15-20 , because if you just started the game ... well you wont be able to access them (if i remember well). I'd suggest Honest Heart 1st,Old world Blues 2nd, Dead Money 3rd then Lonesome Road.

Enjoy!

Make sure you play DM, OWB and LR in release order. HH can be played at any point, really, as it's not part of the main DLC storyline.

The DM -> OWB -> LR order ensures the best possible experience with the Courier's personal story, so that's how they should be played the first time.

I recommend play HH if you are jsut starting out (still reach about level 10) but otherwise do the DLC's in release order.

Honest Hearts is the easiest early on. Not a lot of skill checks, fairly easy enemies compared to other DLCs, and it has good rewards.

Honest Hearts is the easiest. I really like Old World Blues. Have fun.

Based on the suggested level for each DLC, the order is HH, DM, OWB, and then LR. So when looking at the map, start at the top, and go clockwise.

HH is probably the best to do really early on, pretty much as soon as you get out of goodsprings, as they require you to bring under 70 lbs of gear or something like that. Plus the stuff it gives you at the end is great for the rest of the game.

Other than that, DM is really immersive and makes you truely fight for your life, OWB is probably the most fun and has lots of sci fi stuff, in addition to one of the weirdest conversations you will ever have, and LR is gritty, and extremely challenging especially at the end.

I am currently level 7 and at The Strip looking for Benny so when is a good time to start a DLC?

10 or so is good enough I would guess.

Personally I have started the DLCs around 15 the last few times just to get my skills up a little more

Here's a warning about HH, by the way. There's a crucial speech check of 90 at the end of it. You won't miss out on any gear if you don't pass it, I just find it the best ending.

If you want to be skanky like me i usually do Dead Money at level 7 to get all the (spoiler) Gold Bars at the end of the game

I'd go with OWB or HH, but to each his own.

Since im far in the Main Quests (i just killed Mr. House) and level 10, I would like to know if i can store my stuff anywhere so I can play HH (the one that needs 75 lbs for weight) since i have around 210 lbs
