House Always Wins VI Glitch

Hey I've neutralized the Omertas and House won't continue to the next quest stage, is there anyway to fix it besides reloading?

The quest is HAW IV, not VI.

The wiki says:

"After eliminating the Omertas, Mr. House doesn't recognize that they are gone. To remedy this, load a save point before killing Big Sal and Nero, go talk to Mr. House and make sure you go through all the dialogue on what to do about the Omertas. After this, killing Big Sal and Nero and returning to Mr. House should allow you to finish the quest."

Seems you might have to reload then.

You could try a console command that forced a quest to change to a later stage.

I looked around but I'm not sure if I can find the point you're looking for. If you do need to load an old save to fix this, but you don't have one to load (a save that's several hours back or whatever) you can try using this console command to make House Always Wins IV reset back to the very beggining, other than that I can't really provide much assistance I'm afraid.

In future you might want to check out some of the New Vegas patches that help fix these bugs and avoid this nuisances.

Ah, yeah. I gave the exact same advice in the Veronica quest thread.

setstage <quest id> <quest stage id>, where quest id is "00147888", and quest stage id is "100". No quotation marks of <>'s in the console.

If your save is too far back (mine was in Primm), you can load your quicksave in the room, pickpocket a key, and run all the way to house WITHOUT killing anyone, exhaust his dialogue options with the Omertas, and finally go back to The Gomorrah (I don't remember spelling) to kill the two bosses.
