Veronica's presence doesn't change anything, only the Elder choice.
They may not all deserve to die, but that's a more just fate for them than being allowed to walk the wastes again.
Exactly. BoS aren't good guys they are neutral at best. F3 completely changed them from what they were in F1+2.
They used to be extremely elitistic and show contempt towards others, and in their minds they were only were keeping the civilization together and safe from the savage hordes. They did this with little regard toward others. In F3 they were changed to be pretty close to fairy tale knights.
The BoS is a xenophobic cult, only interested in self-preservation and hoarding pre-war tech. Nothing nice at all about them, if you happen to be an outsider.
Its incredibly annoying how many people here seem to think the series started with Fallout 3.
Maybe Elder Lyons just had an actual moral code. The different is weird, hence the Outcasts, but it at least helps some people...some. :p
actually, there was an enclave base not far from megaton, north east of it, i believe. the base was ran by a computer, which you can convince to self distruct the base.
raven rock hill, thx to fallout wiki.
