Honest Hearts pop up
I started playing Honest Hearts a couple days ago, and yesterday an extremely annoying issue popped up. While walking though Zion, a box keeps popping up saying something like "You need to travel with Happy Trails Caravan on your first trip to Zion National Park". When I click OK, it comes up again instantly, about 10 times till it stops. I cant figure out whats causing it. I tried uninstalling the 3 or so mods I have effecting HH, but it still showed up.. I don't see it mentioned on the wiki as a common bug, and don't know what to do.

I'm having the same problem. It happens every hour or so and pop's up twice each time. I tried to go back to the Southern passage thinking there was some kind of trigger or cue or something I didn't do when I was with the Happy Trails Caravan, but when I got there the pop up came up incessantly and wouldn't stop. Super annoying... any ideas anyone?
Did you go through the ambush with the caravan, or just run off? Other than that, I have no idea. Never seen that one before.

It's been over half a year. All I remeember is that I couldnt find a way to fix it. I don't remember what I tried.

Sounds like a script has bugged.
Having a look in the GECK, if I'm reading it right there's a script (NVDLC02ZionDoorSCRIPT) that triggers this message if you don't have the Zion Canyon map (NVDLC02ZionMap)
which is baseID xx00AE9F where xx is dependent on your load order.
If you've got all of the dlc then xx should be 02 otherwise you'll have to work it out on your own.

If you don't have the map you could give this console command a try and see if it fixes it
player.additem 0200AE9F 1

if that fixed it you might be able to remove the map, but this might cause the pop up again
player.removeitem 0200AE9F 1

Make sure you have an earlier save you can revert to in case this causes any other problems.
I expect it may cause issues towards the end of the main quest in Honest Hearts if you get the map before you're supposed to.

Did you talk with the Caravan leader first and did you strip your carrying weight to 100 or 75 pounds?
I had got a similar pop up until I got my carrying weight down to the requirement by storing my extra stuff in a crate near the Caravan leader.

This didn't work for me, but thanks for suggesting something. This didn't happen last time I played, and disabling all the mods I added for this run didn't fix it either.

Had this same issue, JDC's fix does work, you just doubly have to make sure of the load order of the mod, if you have the Courier's Stash DLC along with everything else nowadays, Honest Hearts is going to be 06 in the load order.
