Is there a legal (not killing everybody) way to get into the Gun Runners compound?

I would like to explore it, and possibly swipe some good stuff, but i can't get in without all the gun runners turning on me, is it possible?

Go to the crimson caravan's HQ building, speak to the smartly dressed busiiness woman. She offers you several jobs, there you will find a job that involves going into the Gunrunners. You will need a high sneak skill (50+) and lots of ''stealth boy'' field generators. You simply pick the lock on the front gate while invisible, and sneak in right under their noses!

Stealth boy, la fantoma skill magazine and make sure you're in sneak mode. Leave your followers behinds ...save before the attempt

I usually popped Ratslayer into my hands, shot the outside guards, then sneaked in and did the same to the rest of them. There isn't really that much loot in there, surprisingly.

It appears I'm not the only one having issues with the quote button, and yeah, usually. If I'm doing that quest or the Crimson Caravan quest, I just leave my companions (if any) outside and pop a Stealth Boy and sneak at light-speed to grab the blueprints, then GTFO.

No idea. I noticed it happening yesterday since I got a new laptop that based on the specs, will be able to run everything except maybe Cry3 stuff with no difficulty, but I thought it was just an issue with the laptop itself. Glad to see it's not just me. :P

I've never had any trouble breaking in, even on characters with a low sneak. Just wait till midnight and sneak in when the guards arent by the front gate. Everyone inside should be sleeping, so as long as you stay away from the rooms to the left, you should be fine.

Also, unless there's a mod that adds them, the Gun Runners don't employ the Courier during the game, they just pay him for the Fiend weapons he picks up and sells to them. :P

i was ready with soooo many stealth items. The only problem was the guard infront where you just had to wait a bit. After that I went in got what I needed and went out again without anybody noticing. Was expecting way more from it.

are "legal" and 'iilegal" even real concepts in FNV? I know what the OP is getting at but its an interesting question...I think...on a Friday afternoon...I'd really like some wine right now

Illegal activities are obviously things like murder, theft, etc. Punishment for all of these is death, as the dominant NCR doesn't bother with a proper justice system, as one of the loading screen "tips" states.

He may also mean cheating / console commands as illegal means.
