'Old World Blues' : Any one got any tips?
Old World Blues is my final dlc to embark upon and I'm keen to know, before I venture in, can you dip in and out of it like Lonesome road? And, Without spoiling the plot for me, what sort of gear do you recommend I take with me, cheers.

(NOTE)
I have since completed all this, but if anyone has any good tips, feel free to post :)

All I know is: My Tri-Beam Laser max charge and Gobi Campaign Sniper Rifle are coming with me, (I have laser commander perk and Handloader)

I'm guessing pulse grenades are a must as there are lots of robots, right?
I am the proud owner of the Elite RIOT Gear and my stats are ALL 100.

But I get the feeling I may be missing something, does anyone know what that might be?...
You can't dip in and out like in LR (until you finished the dlc main quest anyway).

As for weapons: the best weapons for OWB are located in the Big Empty, energy-based that is. You can throw your pulse grenades out the window. Pulse grenades are so passé according to the Think Tank anyway.
Your sniper rifle will come in handy. Just make sure you have a close-range weapon at your disposal, like a shotgun.

12 ga. Riot was a good choice then. .cheers:)
You'll be getting a large number of melee weapons as well, all anti-bot. There's also some VERY OP upgrades you get there, like one that makes you completely immune to poison.
May I suggest the super heated saturnite fist. Useful for the unarmed character. Also does fire damage.
That's what I used for the Unarmed achievement. :P
Thanks for the tips guys :) Cheers Dos, I've just got through that mountain of dialogue at the start and heve received a couple of the unique weapons, the dog thingy and sonic thingy, so I'll get out there and kick some robot/mutant hind!
Yeah, the K9000 is pretty much a minigun that uses revolver rounds and has a smaller clip. Make sure to get all the quests done, since there's a TON of XP there for the taking. :D

What about skill points, where should we focus them in, science? I just started the dlc too and dumped all 14 into science, it was lacking anyway.

That intro was long! All that toe-penis talk was funny tho.

Okay, so you probably didn't do it on purpose, I was just amused by your choice of wording given that they got one of the voice actors from Venture Bros for OWB.

No worse than the intro to Dead Money, but at least this one broke-up the monotony with a fair bit of humor (the aformentioned penis toes included).
I am watching you. Sep 12, 2013 @ 11:01pm
Once you enter you have to finish.
Afterwords you can return as often as you please.

As for equipment.
Just whatever weapon you are comfortable like using.
Personally I brought in a riot shotgun, a hunting rifle and plenty of handloaded ammo.
Also you may want to add an explosive launcher as well.
