Bad mods

I don't know if it bugs anyone else, but people seem to love their anime/cute/sexy girl companion/player model mods where the girl's skin is perfect despite there being no soap other than laundry detergent. In some cases you actually find the companion wandering the wastes with pearly white skin.

Because in the grim,dark future of earth, people sweat sunscreen.

True, SexOut did get deleted from the nexus. There are a lot of terrible mods under the surface.

Although a lot of them are in the (Adult) top 10.

And the last sex dungeon mod I saw was a Skyrim one, but there are most likely some for New Vegas with the mentality of Bethesda modders.

I just love how they call it 'adult' top 10. Still blows my mind how sex is put under that surely guns should also be put into that section also? I dunno maybe I'm readin to much into things.. Anyway I was just about to come here to argue thanks again I was expecting people to tear my comment apart..

Agreed, Uber. So long as part of the lore is the fact that the wasteland is in no way a clean place-morally or literally.

well, I'd compare it to pouring uneccesary stuff all over your ice cream. How can you honestly say you like the ice cream if there's more toppings than ice cream? With ice cream being the vanilla (lol) game and the toppings the mods, some obviously supplement the flavor of the ice cream and some detract from it. Those who only experience detractions are oblivious to the full flavor of the ice cream.

It is, and I'm not saying mods are bad, just that some of them ruin what the developers set out to create.

The point is, after a person has played through several times, they might want to add something crazy to the wasleland experience....like a cat, or a pet death claw, a naked oil wrestler...or (ugh), a pony. We're all guilty of it to a certain extent, its like selecting Wild Wasteland so we can be attacked by some rollerpin wielding octogenarians in Freeside. Its fun, like a box of kittens or church, or gin.
