Since most enemies in the game die in less than 3 hits at this point attack speed isnt a terrific stat. (of course you should pick slayer still). On the other hand heavy critical hits will outright one hit kill many enemies or greatly reduce the amount of hits needed for the kill, and +50% is a really heavy bonus.

absolutely crit damage, all the things that boost crit damage multiply each other so assuming you have better criticals and similar perks they will all get even more explosive results going for just lucky im alive is nutso strong, especially their are energy weapons that can reach guaranteed critical hit rates, another +50% critical damage on weapons that always crit is a hell of a lot more damage then shooting 20% faster.
