Player.addperk command not functioning?
I am trying out some modded perks and have encountered an issue that a few others I've seen have had too. When using the addperk command, the console says that the perk was added to my character, but it doesn't appear in the pip-boy nor does it actually seem to give my character the effect it is supposed to. Any idea what is causing this? My guess is one of my mods but could just be usual New Vegas jank. Any help would be appreciated!

Are you sure that the perks are playable, not hidden, and you meet the requirements?

What is the exact command you are using?
Do the perks require a " 1" at the end of the command to function or something?

Update: My save corrupted, all of my mods are non functional and have been replaced with The Frontier, Fallout New Vegas replaced every file on my desktop and my computer has burst into flames. You all could've prevented this by replying sooner.

I'm using the player.addperk command and using a 1 at the end of the command. The console is displaying that the perk was added but it doesn't appear to actually have been added. What do you mean the perk is playable? Also my character is level 50 and it is a requirementless modded perk so I don't believe that is the issue.

What is the exact command you are using? Perhaps don't add a 1 if you were doing that.

I've tried both without the 1 and with, I am typing into the console, player.addperk followed by the perk ID. The console displays a message saying, the perk's name has been added to my character at rank 1. It also removes the perk when using the player.removeperk command as then the player.addperk command works like it did when I used it the first time again.

Shot in the dark here but guessing it has something to do with either an NVSE plugin, StewieTweaks or YUP. Reinstalling everything now to see if it works.

It appears I've pushed my already unstable deck of cards into a burning pit.

I think what you need is some patience.

Probably, taking a break from fnv anyways and prob gonna clear out my modlist. I think 91 was stretching it just a biiiiiit too far for the engine to handle.
