[Vault 22] Keely won't pay up

So I decided to help Keely with getting rid of the spores in exchange for "all the money [she has]" but after igniting the gas and returning to her she never actually pays me. Did she mislead me (i.e. she didn't have any money) or is this a bug?

In one of my playthrus, I accidently shot one of the mantis nests by her. She got killed by mantis nymphs. I left it at that, as she was an annoying character.

But Keely says to you (if you ask what's in it for you if you help her) that she'll give you all her money once you ignited the gas.

edit2: You might get the caps from Williams, actually. It would make sense that Keely doesn't actually have money with her.
