so Im locked up inside the Hidden Valley bunker

nope, I have not blown it up yet. Im in the middle of Middle of the dark mission. I could pass the door before this without any probs, but now somehow I lost access and Im stuck.

Ive looked up, and its not a known bug. so Im doing something wrong?

Sounds like you may need to use the console to open it.

• Stand by the door and press your tilde key to open the console
  
• Click on the door
  
• Then type "unlock" (without quotes) in to the console
  
• Press the tilde key to close the console and the door will be unlocked.

NOTE: Using the console will block achievements for your current session, if you want to get achievements, you'll need to restart the game after doing this.

Have you started a fight with the BoS paladins? I think that puts the bunker into lockdown and you need a key from a paladin or high end BoS member.

It's possible that the console blocks achievements for the remainder of your playthrough with that character (that's what it did for me, i use the console to increase movement speed up a notch, this game is waaaay too slow for me).

thanks all for the help ;) yeah I prolly have no arch. wich is fine by me. I rather have a working game. It was really weird, I came back from a part in the "still in the dark" quest where I had to find 3 brotherhood agents. I briefed Mcnamara (sp?), got the followup (talk with guy about fixing the air system), talked with the guy who send me to 3 vaults to pickup spare parts.

I then went upstairs to exit the Hidden valley bunker but then the door was locked. I didnt do the optional things like talk with harden (because I dont want him to remove mcnamara), but Im guessing thats not needed.

I'm late to this reply chain, but if you're in this situation and you're seeing this thread, you do not need to use console commands.

Simply quicksave behind Paladin Ramos and pickpocket the key while you're Hidden, it may take a bunch of quickloading to get it to work, but I was Sneak 70 when this happened to me so I got it first try.

Oh and PS: The door is meant to be locked if you aggro'd them or are supposed to talk to the Elder for the whole explosive collar thing
