focusing with vats and firing off a round after releasing vats will force a shot (almost) directly at the target. Like the scope and shoot in COD
If your vats is missing alot, focus the torso in vats.
taking the trait 'Trigger Discipline' and 'Gunslinger', 'Sniper', 'Commando' or 'Hobbler' results in a much better vats accuracy. than if they were taken as standalone.
