"Will you love me if I help you hide" -Stealth Suit MK II
Just make sure to do all the upgrades on the suit for maximum potential. The challenges are entertaining too haha.
there is a mod to make it back into light.
Meh. I prefer weapon mods over armor mods, and that mod only helps people WITH the mod. I still prefer the Courier Duster over anything else, though.
Or Elite riot armor for you combat armor fans, its in the northern ridge of the Lonesome road DLC, with a pipe leading to a building top I think.
sierra madre reinforced security armor from dead money
combat armor mkII from the gun runners
heavy armor sucks. its simply too slow.
That's entirely the point of heavy armor: better protection than anything else at the cost of slow movement and greater costs for things like sprinting.
but its a point that is not realised within the game, apart from early game armor choices the medium armor and light armor are close to the heavy armors, more easily repaired, and easier to obtain.
ramble ramble balance damage health pools and the irrevalence of DT.
I'm fairly certain getting shot by say, a 12.7mm SMG, has quite a bit of damage difference between a Courier Duster/Combat Armor and a fully-repaired suit of Enclave Remnant Power Armor.
The NPC damage delt is simply too low, unless you, the player actively set handicaps you are never in any real danger, thus making DT irrevalent.
If damage was say. Doubled, or tripled, then armor would definately start being essential.
