An ENB that is is the most vanilla like in Fallout 3 & NV?
I'm trying to find an ENB or get ENB-like features on my fallout games to enhance the graphics. I am not a big fan of the realistic ones since they remind me too much of The Last Of Us and I feel that sort of colorful look doesn't fit well into the fallout games. I want to know if its even possible to do something of this sort. I guess maybe having an enb that doesn't mess with the colors and contrast. In a sense I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to how i want my games to look ( i even like the fallout games with their green and orange tint) as i dont like to change the look too much. Anyways any kind of suggestions are appreciated since ive been searching for hours and have found nothing to satisy me. Thank you :)

I'd wait for Enhanced Shaders, http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49882/? to update to the newest ENB version. Right now its on an outdated one that has that weapon transparency bug.

I just use Titan for now.

That Titan one looks very nice, I will probably use that one now. Thanks for your help and input. If you have a fallout 3 one to also recommend i would appreciate it

For me it is the Desert ENB. I tried all of them but this is the best one.

It's very easy to install, it's just straight enb, not any sweetfx ♥♥♥♥ etc..don't need any new "Skies" mod, no transparency bug, no oversatured colors, nights aren't too dark, interiors are perfect, it's very sharp even without AA, very performance friendly compared to the other ones, it really eats only about 20 fps at maxed out config (without detailed shadows, dof and sun rays it eats about 10 fps, but still big improvement in graphics), while Enhanced shaders enb eats about 40 fps, at least on my pc. Really, give it a try. The version for vanilla is down in old versions. The main is for Nevada skies.
P.S. - For me, this is really meant to be a Fallout New Vegas ENB. it's just perfect, gives the right colors and style, just install and play. No bugs, no need for anything other..

i liked the desert one too. I actually don't know which setting i prefer, The regular vanilla or the desert enb. For some reason the game adds black bars on the bottom and top of my screen which gives it a kind of movie look. I'll try to edit that effect out but it looks great nonetheless

yea i'm not a big fan of those kind of enbs. I feel it strays too much from the original look and feel of the game. They look great though, just not my cup of tea.

Ok... i need to apply some eye candy mods to this game, all that looks great, and that vector rips!

The black bars can be disabled by editing one line in enbeffect.fx
FIND THIS LINE:
#define HD6_VIGNETTE
CHANGE IT TO:
//#define HD6_VIGNETTE
The black bars should be gone now.

Thanks for the tip. I was playing around with the enb settings on just a regular enb with no preset effects. I then turned on the orginal post porcessing effects in the editor at the effects section which gives back that yellowish tone the game had, but it made an effect im afraid i find hard to describe. Its like when I'm wearing the vault 27 suit, the letters on the 27 arent smooth. theres a bit of fuzziness when you move in third person. There are lines that kind of move..II'll try to get a screenshot later when i have time so maybe it will make more sense to you guys when you read it. Another way i can describe it is when you move towards a house from a distance you can see the outline of the house (black lines or so) kind of flicker. I thought maybe i needed anti aliasing injected such as injectsmaa or sweetfx but even with those mods combined with my enb i still get that fuzziness.

hmm i removed enb and i forced 32x csaa, fxaa, and 8x supersampling through my nvidia control panel (i have a powerful rig XD) The game looks fantastic, however i would like to include the shaders seen in enb. Thing is you cant use any kind of game or hardware aa with enb so is there some kind of injector of some sort where i can get shaders and have the best of both worlds?

With ENB, you can use MSAA injector (which is really ugly), or force FXAA or some other AA in Nvidia Control Panel (ENB version must be v. 194 or newer to use with forced AA).
Also, i really recommend you to download NMCs texture pack, the textures with some good ENB looks literally 100x better than the default ones)

yea i already have mods such as NMC installed, i didn't know the newer enbs allow forced aa. Im going to try it now.
Ciats 2014년 1월 9일 오후 7시 16분
yea i played with the injector aa before, the effects were not so profound
Ciats 2014년 1월 9일 오후 7시 50분
yup, can't use hardware aa with enb. you get the transparency bug

Anybody know what ENB is an acronym of?
