im vilified help

I have to go get the chip from Benny on Fortification HIll, but ooooopppssss i am vilified by the legion i cant even look at one of them without getting attacked. i am too far along in the game to take it back, what do i do?

Disguises only work on the plebs of factions; guards and guard dogs will still recognise you. However if you have a high sneak skill and are good at evading enemies you could try using a disguise to protect yourself from detection by sight and simply evade the guards. However you will stil need to fight your way out as Benny is in Caesar's tent which is packed with Praetorian Guards. Or you could just load up on weapons and armour and carve your way through the Legion.

I say use tons of stealth boys, if you do the Old World Blues DLC and explore then you'll find atleast a dozen of them.

oh i did that already i went all the way through killed everybody but a handful of them, but you dont get the chip without communication with Caesar and killing benny. so i am officially screwed unless i cheat and someone shows me how to get legion not to hate me

have you already been given the mark of Ceasar at the strip?

This[fallout.wikia.com] particular page might come in handy when looking up different 'console commands', but the console commands you're looking for are as follows:

Player.removereputation f43dd 0 100
Player.addreputation f43dd 1 100

Or type, 'Player.placeatme 00139b8b' and talk to the magical old man that appears nearby about your reputation with the Legion... make sure to save before you do any of this, by the way; just in case.

Or you could stand outside Ceaser's tent and type, 'tdetect' so that no-one will be able to see you when you're inside, then use 'removefromallfactions' on everyone but yourself so that no-one inside the tent will attack you when typing 'tdetect' in the console and you can progress through the storyline that you chose.

yeah i already got the mark of Ceasar, instead of going right to him i continued with other quests and now i regret it

ok i will have to keep this in mind, but from the looks of it i will just be forced to start the game all over and not hold off on this quest from the get go

i dont know about you but personally i would just get boone and either of the secondary followers and fight my way through the fort, seeing as its not all that difficult :/

i have 2 intense followers and some serious skills, i can't beat everybody before i get beat down, just to many people come out of the tent

idk i will see what i can do. i really think i will just have to start the game over though, without being able to do the quest i dont get to get further quests and i will never even see the chip
