why does ringo want me dead all of a sudden!?

so i've completed the quest with ringo and faught off the powder gangers and saved him. then i moved on and at some point killed everyone in the ncr prison because i was already villified with them at that point, and right after that i went back to good springs and ringo attacked me. i have an idolized status there so i'm not sure whats going on so i've just been running because i do not want to gain any imfamy in goodsprings. also a settler aggroed on and i'm baffeled.

He will turn hostile if you have negative reputation with the NCR or if you're wearing armor of the NCR's enemies.

oh ♥♥♥♥ i forgot to take off my powder ganger armor i'm stupid uhh well i guess that also answers why the NCR was shooting at me

could be also wiping out NCR prison prob didnt help relations with ringo cos you um killed all his prison buddys just shoot him on the quiet he's powder ganger anyways stake body out for all to see goodsprings is a good town for good folk

Yeah, one time I decided to try on the new type of legion armor I'd just found (praetorian). In the middle of Camp Lost Hope.

What's really strange, is, that after you finish the "Ghost Town Gunfight" and talk to Ringo, when the dust settles...he pays you, and goes off to the Crimson Caravan Co. fort (I'll have to assume you skipped that)...seeing how he was making a delivery for them to begin with...and on the return trip, the Powder Gangers jumped his caravan (so he could care less if you killed them all..it would prolly make him happy)...and yeah, talk about bad places to switch faction-armor: It's not a very good idea to put on NCR Mantle Armor on in the bottom of Vault 3...the fiends get a little trigger happy, but, it's funny to see them freak out, once they see you...

Ringo's the Crimson Caravan employee, which is within the NCR faction.
