Verifying New Vegas will always turn up one missing file. Something to do with a unique .exe or something. Whatever the cause of your issue, it`s not file integrity.

No idea. You haven`t really provided much information beyond "couldn`t launch the game".

Can I sent you the names of all files in FNV Directory?

What ? No. If it were an issue with your install then the verification and reinstall would have caught it.

Okay, question time.

1. When you try to launch FONV, what happens ? Do you get an error message ? What happens with your processes ?

2. Where are you trying to launch FONV from ? Steam ? The folder ? FOMM ? NMM ? Running as admin ?

3. Do you have mods ? If so, have you BOSSed the load order ? Tried running without them ?

4. What OS are you running ?

1. That normal error message box "X program stopped working"

2. I´m launching from Steam

3. No mods(And also when I had mods in the Data file, if it dind´t run, I always removed, and deactivate the mods, and the game would work)

4. Running on Windows 8.1 64-bit system

So it ran before, on the same setup ? And now it doesn`t, despite a clean install ?

It`s probably Win8 related but I honestly don`t know what exactly it could be. Try compatibility mode and running Steam/New Vegas as admin I guess, but this is quite mystifying.

Yea, thanks for the help, but tell me just something, in Fallout New Vegas/Data/Menus/Option what´s the name of the xml. file? That might be causing the problem.

There is no Menus folder in the stock game.

Wait, really? Then thats why my game ins´t running I think.

Thanks people, the problem was the Nexus was replacing the game´s default texture, with one that I downloaded long time ago, as well adding a menu folder with xml. for a hud replacer under the Data folder, but then I deleted all mods, connection between Nexus and FNV data and delete FNV directory, downloaded the files, and the game runs perfectly fine now.
