Controller speed when aiming seems extremely high
I know this seems to be a problem Bethesda has when it comes to their games being in First Person - they can't get a dedicated camera/movement engine it seems, this is present in Fallout, up to even Skyrim.

But when it comes to F:NV it reaches 30 all new terrible levels of sensitivity control. It seems slow when using a controller to look around normally, but when you pull out a gun and aim with true sights on then the sensitivity is the exact same as looking around without your gun which means that the sensitivity is clearly extremely way too high for when aiming. It's almost impossible to aim down sights because the lightest most soft touch of the joystick that aims will blow a mile past your target you're trying to aim at.

Is there any known fixes or mods that could fix this?

i know what you mean, but i forgive fallout for this for 2 reasons
you try actually hitting anything let alone moving things with most of these types of weapons irl and see what happens, lol, specially auto weaps
fallout gives you V.A.T just for this problem
