Alternate Transport Mods

Are there any mods out there (besides xre cars) that adds some form of transport other than fast travel? I like walking, but it can get annoying sometimes. And i don't like fast traveling either. Do you guys know of any mods for this? Thanks!

There's a mod called Mobile Truck Base that adds a truck as a player home, which you can use to travel between certain points. I love it, it's really well made. Downsides for you are that it basically functions the same as fast travel (via dialog in the truck) except it limits you to major locations you've discovered and you need to fuel it to use it.

Little late response but you can also use the "Speed-E-Wheels" mod as a means of an alternative and lore friendly way to fast travel to certain few select places. I personally have fast travel deactivated via a mod and use speed e wheels. For me it feels like that's what the game should have been from the start.

XRE cars and XRE vertibird are really the best ones. Geno Breaker mentioned the mobile truck base mod. Which is good but its designed for hardcore role players who play a game w/o fast traveling unless they use the truck and have fuel for it. You cant actually drive the mobile truck base it just fast travels to specific spots around the map and then "parks" in a specific spot in that area when you get there. Similar to the Skyrim RPers that wont fast travel unless they use one of the carriages. Most of the motorcycle mods suck. The pickup in XRE cars is usually the easiest to get working without bugging the game all to ♥♥♥♥.

I like XRE Cars, but its the fact that whenever i enable a new mod or disable an old one the load order changes and it makes me do the enable and quit thing over and over even though the esp changes one slot. As of right now, i use Advanced Motorcycle for some of my traveling, Mobile truck for most, and i use the vertibird for those missions that i dont feel like going down into quarry junction and shooting mini nukes at deathclaws.
