The Endings?
Hey gueys,

just finished playing Fallout New Vegas. I have chosen the "Dr House Always Win"- Way and was more or less satisfaid with the ending. Now I'm about to play it again (because it's awesome of course^^) but also to experience the other endings.
Could you tell me, how many endings there actually are and how they influence the game after the event.

Thanks Fallout-Fellas!

Actually 5 endings if you count the mini ending you can get in Dead Money.
Plus all the variations for towns and factions. Going to take you a very long time to see everything this game has to offer.

There are 5 endings. Helping Mr. House, helping the NCR, helping Ceasar's Legion, helping Yes Man and destroying Hoover Dam
Deactivating the dam does not alter the Yes Man ending. There are 4 endings for the critical path.

No, I meant there's taking over the Dam with Yes Man and then there's destroying the Dam... Not both together

One of the nice things about RPGS. So much replay value. I always feel like I got my moneys worth out of a good RPG.

There is no option to destroy Hoover Dam.

There is no option to destroy Hoover Dam.

Really? I've been told by many people that that's an option...

You've been misinformed. The option is to disable the generators during No Gods or Masters with Yes Man. But it does not change the ending.

Disabling it is effectivly destroying it as no one can then use it, so.
But in a literal sense you can not destroy the dam.

There's actually 2 mini endings in Dead Money.

But for the core game, there is 4 Core endings, with many variations (like how the ending slides show you what happens to each faction and each settlement the courier interacted with, all those can be different every play through).

Also both the Mr. House and Yes Man endings also have variations in their endings Being able to negotiate the treaty with NCR for House or yes man which requires 100 speech, or not, as well as being able to cause a meltdown at the hoover dam for yes man and screwing everyone over, which i dont think changes too much.

Which is exactly what I have been saying.
