0xc000007b - Application unable to start correctly

As above when I try and load NV I get this error. I've tried updating vcredist and direct x.
Moved Steam to a different HDD. disabling UAC. But I just can't get it to work!

It's a bug that will only be fixed by a full reinstall of Windows, I'm afraid..

I have had the same error for a bunch of other games, and from what I can find it it's basically a few dodgy DirectX DLL files. I've tried a multitude of fixes, and simply put have never gotten any of them to work.

Which video card are you using, nvidia or ati?

Nvidia you can try ENB.

Also tried your other ideas but still no luck. I just can not get it to work.

The troubleshooter say's it's a compatibility issue but I've tried running FalloutNV.exe in all the different O/S options.

Make sure your Direct X is up-to-date

And Try Installing Visual C++ Redistribution pack (2011 64bit)

Also make sure you have .Net Framework up-to-date.

These 3 worked for me when I couldn't get my game up and running after a new install.
Also. Make sure you are running steam and all your games in Administration mode.

In your Steam game folder go to commonredist > DirectX > Jun2010.

Open every CAB file with x64 at then end and copy all DLL files to main game folder. I had this error and copying them all worked for me

I had the 0xc000007b error and I can confirm that this works. It's a pain in the ass, but if you open all of the CAB files in commonredist > DirectX > June2010 and move them into your main game folder, the game will run. 100%. Tank you Kalash, I've been trying to fix this issue all day! You're awesome.

I opened the redist and could not find June2010 or any 2010 folders for that matter. Some help would be kindly appreciated
