Or try going into the settings of your game and checking to see if you have a controller enabled, if so turn it off
Hello.
I have this trouble as well. When starting the game, and the opening with the company-names appear, my cursor is gone, and clicking does not work. I have to resort to crtl+alt+del, to then not open the joblist, as this does also not work, but log off. You mention trying going to the settings of the game, and checking if controller is enabled. Do you mean in-game? if so, it does not help. I have tried the ini.'s and changed the number from 0 to 1. Starting the game, the cursor was present, but it had a constant loading loop circling, like when loading. Clicking still did not work. This is the same when changing the number from 1 to 2.
The thing is, this all worked not long before, but at that time, my Vortex had automatically disabled 50+ plugins, i later re-enabled. Now the game does not work.
Kindly requesting a response to this old correspondence.
I am not sure of a specific minuscule cure for the problem all 3 of you seem to be having, but my guide contains numerous stability fixes under "Vortex Mods Part 1"
I strongly suggest you install these bug fixes as described, and then come back here and let me know if you 3 are having additional problems.
I strongly suspect the issue stems from the instability of the base game, and can be remedied with additional fixes. If it can not, re-installing from scratch using said guide should %100 not give you the same issue.
I apologise I can not narrow down your problem more,
